Human Rights Council
Megan Kong
Megan is a final year Politics and IR student from UCL, and she also serves as the Vice President (Academics) for the university's United Nations Association. She is originally from Hong Kong, and has been doing MUN since 2017. This time in BathMUN, she would be chairing with Aether and Matthew (the best team), and make this conference the best experience ever. Outside MUN, she loves singing, and making new friends, so please don't be shy to approach her, especially when you're all at the Botanist. One fun fact about her is that she used to compete for UCL Taekwondo, but don't worry, she's not scary at all!
Nongrat Aether Li
After having a wonderful experience at their first BathMUN chairing UNHRC last year, Aether is back to do it all over again with the friends they love -- because isn't that what MUN is about?
Nongrat Aether Li is a third-year Politics and IR student at SOAS University of London, which probably explains what drew them to MUN. They are also the secretary-general of SOAS UN Society's first conference, SOASMUN 2025 happening in January 2025. Outside of MUN (thank god), Aether can be spotted at libraries with an iced latte, trying their best to do their reading only to go back to their phone minutes later.
Matthew Davies
Matthew is an LLB law student from the University of Exeter. After starting MUN in January 2023 he has since delegated and chaired debates across the UK and Europe, as well as becoming the vice-president of the EXMUN society. In his spare time you can find him procrastinating his degree in the law library or doing triathlons. He can’t wait to meet all of you in HRC at BathMUN 2025!
