Ella Samways

Ella Samways is a second year Politics and International Relations student at Queen Mary University London, where she is the welfare officer for the QMUN society and its upcoming conference. She has previously chaired at UCLMUN and was a delegate at BathMUN 2023. Originally from Norfolk, Ella is a true Londoner at heart. While an IR student at core, Ella has interests ranging between STEM and human rights, law, sport, and everything in between. The UNEP represents a very important part of her MUN career, as she believes committees dedicated to the causes of the environment have the power to make lasting change. Outside of MUN, Ella coaches and judges competitive gymnastics and takes a keen interest in the political arena of the UK.

Calvin Iyer

Calvin Iyer is a 3rd year politics and international relations student at the London School of Economics. Calvin has been doing MUN for too many years and is partial to a gritty NATO or UNSC topic, either historical or current. Outside of his degree Calvin is an aspiring barrister and legal professional and often finds ways to incorporate this interest into committee proceedings. Academic endeavours aside, Calvin has several hobbies ranging from calligraphy and painting, to language learning. He is also a wizard in the kitchen and can create something delicious from almost nothing!
