THE CHAIRS

LUCIEN KHOURY
SIAMESE CHAIR | HULTMUN
Bonjour guys, he's Lucien, one of your crisis chair for BathMUN 2025. He's from Paris (city of love) but he studies a BBA with a Major in Finance at Hult International Business School in London, second year. He started MUN in GA last September because he thought it was fun and he's gone to many conferences since. He now regret not joining crisis earlier, so he knows there'll be fun. See you soon...
NGUYEN THUC ANH TO
HAW CHAIR | KCLUNA
This is Thuc Anh (please do not call her Nguyen). She is a 2nd Year History student at KCL. She joined her school's MUN club as a Sixth Former, wanting to jazz up her CAS (any International Baccalaureate sufferers?), and it ended up being one of the most fun, memorable, and formative things she's ever done. She mainly specialises in Crises, especially historical ones. Outside of MUN, you can find her attempting to play music, boxing, going to the cinemas an unhealthy amount, and passionately annoying her friends. She can't wait to see the chaos you guys stir at BathMUN!!!
THE SIAMESE BACKROOM

SIMON JAMES
PUTTOCK
BACKROOM | EXMUN
Simon James Puttock is a Press and Publicity Officer, and the former Crisis Officer, of the University of Exeter Model United Nations Society (ExMUN). Despite being a full-time PhD student in Environmental Intelligence, he still finds time for the so-called “Hotel California of hobbies”: Model UN, with a particular fondness for Crisis. He has taken part in close to 20 Crisis events to date, and is looking forward to his third BathMUN Crisis. Born in Southampton (which explains a great many things), Simon spends his precious free time making ambient music, bouldering, and playing tabletop games with friends.
GIO BARBACCI SCHETTINO
BACKROOM | IMPERIAL MUN
Giorgio is an MSc student at Imperial College Business School, studying Economics and Strategy for Business. Passionate about global affairs, economics, and debating, he found MUN to be the perfect space to debate real-world challenges and connect with driven, like-minded individuals. He previously served on the Secretariat for BathMUN and was Treasurer of the society. This time around, Giorgio has traded the hectic waters of conference planning (at least for BathMUN) for the (not so) sunny shores of Crisis Backrooming. In his free time, he enjoys watching all kinds of motorsport races, playing tennis, and is currently working on a big MUN conference project 👀.
KYLE
WILKINSON
BACKROOM | CITYMUN
Kyle is a sport science graduate of the University of Bath, currently exploring the world of public health policy. He was first introduced to MUN by his flatmate and current close friend, the SG of BathMUN 2023, whom insisted on holding secretariat meetings in their kitchen. Since then, Kyle has been doing Crisis for practically every MUN both at home and abroad. In his free time, he enjoys reading, writing, cooking, and sport.
THE HAW BACKROOM

LAUREN BETITA
BACKROOM | EXMUN
Recently elected as Exeter’s MUN Society’s Conferences Officer, Lauren Betita enters her fourth year of MUN, driven by her love of international relations (her program of choice if not for Law). Alongside this stems her passion for Crisis, inspired by the intersection and interaction of fictional media and geopolitics. She has directed her own Attack on Titan Crisis during one of her high school conferences in Canada, as well as having attended six conferences, and helping host three. Outside of MUN, Lauren serves as the International Students Officer for Exeter’s Law Society. With the (occasional) cocktail (or matcha!) in her hand, she enjoys obsessing over her last.fm stats, making (many) playlists, and playing video games such as Toontown, Overwatch, and League of Legends.
GABRIEL KNIGHT
BACKROOM | BATHMUN
Hi there, this is Gabriel and he’ll be on the crisis team for this year's edition of BathMUN! He is a student at the University of Bath in his third and final year of politics with economics (although he did start with astrophysics, but since switching he's never looked back!) He's done MUN for over three years now and has virtually never missed a session during his time there. The reason he started in the first place - or a large reason, in any case - was because it sounded similar to a game he enjoys called Diplomacy, both of which involve lots of debating and compromises when you don’t really feel like compromising! Outside of MUN, he's into sports; he's a big football and F1 fan (Arsenal and McLaren fan!), and he also does fencing. His favourite part of crisis is enabling the crazy, wacky, almost certainly nonsensical stories that delegates come up with, and translating them into a somewhat comprehendible and tangible tales! Oh, and he's also now chair of the BathMUN society!
GIORGIO IAMONI
BACKROOM | SOTONMUN
Hailing from a wide range of countries across the globe, Giorgio is an incoming third-year History student at the University of Southampton. He first got involved in MUN during his first year, and has since made it his personal mission to represent San Marino at every session. Outside of MUN, you'll either find him in the library at some ungodly hour, flanked by other SOTONMUN members, or engaged in a heated discussion as to whether pineapple on pizza is an acceptable dish.
ALEXANDER LEWIN
BACKROOM | EXMUN
Hi, Alexander is a second year uni student with an interest in international politics, who enjoys both aspects of MUN. He hopes everyone who's at the crisis this year has a load of fun!
